Linda Laforge-Koebel
creative engineer

ImageLinda is the owner of LA Designs, operating since 1996. Her specialty is graphic design, having been in the industry over 13 years. “I started out making good looking marketing material. When customers started asking me why it wasn’t selling for them, I realized I had a lot more to learn. I haven’t stopped learning since.”
Although Linda is a talented and skilled designer, she is also a top notch copy writer. She continually hones her writing skills through a process of continual learning.

An accomplished artist, she began her career as a sign writer and now does everything from complicated websites to developing tradeshow booths. She enjoys a good challenge, travel and writing. She considers herself 80% idea person, 15% technocrat and 5% nutcase - and it's all good.

Peggy Gemmel
office administrator and virtual assistant

Image Peggy keeps the books up to date and our taxes and bills paid on time. She's also the one keeping your Content Management Website (CMS) kept up to date with all your newest information.

Peggy has been in the advertising industry forever. She's published her own newspaper for the 50+ crowd. Her smiling face and pleasant disposition brightens up any room.

Mike Hooper
website specialist

ImageMike Hooper is our resident technocrat. Initially a student of Electronic Engineering, he discovered website design and management and stuck with it. "I enjoy creating something people can see and appreciate. I like that this industry offers new challenges and continual learning. My favourite teacher is Google." When Mike isn't at his computer developing basic or commerce based websites or reliably solving hosting issues, he's either on a ski hill or a golf course - depending on the weather.

Idea People - Creative, trained and experienced individuals unable to be stymied by any stupid box, anywhere. Don’t be fooled. They don’t all only wear black and they are known for getting cranky. It has something to do with their incredible ability to meet multiple deadlines. Otherwise, they’re a lot of fun.

Technocrats - Technically skilled people who are able to get the job done on time, on budget and who can handle tough problems in a pinch. They can usually be found in front of a computer or in front of a water cooler somewhere talking about the existentialism of ram. (Don’t worry. We promise not to bore you on that one.)
